Sind Club — Mahjong Setup

How many tables are set out, and what a guest is charged. Changes apply to new bookings straight away — no app update, nothing to deploy. Sittings already booked are never touched.

The room

A member books a whole table for 2, 3 or 4 hours, starting on any hour. Tables run in parallel, so the table count is how many sittings can be going at once.

Seats per table

Mahjong is played four to a table. Used to check a member and their guests fit round one.

Guest charge (Rs)

Charged per guest, per sitting. A member's own seat is free.

Guests per member

The club's rule is two.

Bookings a member may hold

Upcoming sittings at once. Tighten this if the room starts being held rather than used; it takes effect on the next booking.

How far ahead (days)

A member cannot book beyond this.

Cancel by (hours before)

Not charged yet. Setting it now means members are told the rule from day one, and the day a late cancellation does cost something there is one number to change.

Club sets

Tile sets the club lends out. A member can play with a club set or bring their own. Leave at 0 if the club offers none.

Cost per hour per set (Rs)

Charged per hour for each club set used. Set to 0 to lend them free.

Hours (shown to members)

Free text — appears in the Mahjong section of the member app (subtitle + Good to know). Example: Daily 9am–5pm · Tuesdays to midnight.

What members will read

The “Good to know” list in the app is BUILT from the settings above — there is no separate copy to keep in step. Change a number here and the members’ app says the new one.

Set in the room's schedule, not here — edit them under Mahjong → Bookings & Desk → Edit hours & days off.

Every day 10:00 – 18:00 → sittings start on any hour
